Well I figured I will be the first one to post in this section. How many R/T owners have installed a Cold Air Intake? I have the C&L and was happy with the result from the dyno.

not a bad increase on a simple mod, you got about 6 horsepower over stock right?

Actually it is almost 11HP and 15TQ.

I'm running the Mopar CAI, been happy with it so far. I've never had the car dynoed, but my guess is it gave me 5-7hp. I mat not be able to feel the difference, but it sure looks a heck of a lot better than the stock air box. I went with Mopar simply because I'd like to keep as many of the mods I do Mopar branded as possible...but that's just me. :)

Does that C&L CAI draw cool air from the top of the hood through the duel nostrils ?

No it does not. It is sealed to the hood and draws air from the bottom just like the stock one. The only setup that draws from the hood is the Cervinis Ram Air setup, but on the R/T you have to replace the Hood Scoops since the stock onces are closed.

The orange on the engine cover is the same as the car, the sun is making it look off.

Made these head light covers. Can only use them from sun rise to sun set, otherwise I will get a ticket. Really like the look.

Wow you guys all got nice mods I just put in Flowmaster 40 dual cans and man the car sounds beast but I think with the CAI like the ones you have it would sound even better.

Great looking Mod! But there is good and bad with CAI....really not bad. CAI function is fully achieved when ambient humidity is lower and temperature is cooler.

True you get more air induction but with higher humidity you also get more water induction. When the dewpoint is around 60 (for instance dewpoint is 60 and the temperature is 60 you usually get Fog)
you will get a marginal if even any benefit from CAI. The higher the dewpoint the more moisture in the air. Your CAI will permit more air along with more moisture somewhat negating the full effect of CAI.

It's a great looking Mod....and depending where one lives would dictate imho whether the investment is worth it. In my case in NE Ohio it is frequently humid and warm during the summer. (NE Ohio, Great Lakes effect)
dewpoints are frequently in the high 50 to 60s range and sometimes near 70, it would be a hit or miss with CAI for me. More often then not a miss.

This came on the car when I bought it with 1800 miles on it. I like the tone it adds to the motor.
