These past couple of weeks have been pretty busy for me. Ordering parts and waiting for them to get here then making arrangements to get them installed.

As of yesterday it all came to a head. Last week, I installed an 85mm Modern Muscle throttle body. Now, I feel like Diablo is a bit more responsive than it's been lately. The butt dyno tells me that it may have added 5hps, if that much. At least he can breathe and he's not all congested like he used to be.

This past Thursday, I dropped Diablo off at my peeples (DTP) to get some more mods installed. The new mods were; a set of JBA shorty headers, an SLP under drive pulley and a Corsa Cat-back exhaust system. They were to do a CMR while he was there. I picked Diablo up on Friday afternoon and went for a test drive. The difference is like night and day. First, let me explain that I have my transmission programmed for manual mode. It will upshift automatically at WOT but for normal driving I have to upshift. It will downshift automatically. It feels, to me, like the response lag is completely gone. In first gear I have to ease the throttle or it'll break loose in a heartbeat. On the interstate, it will soar unlike when stock. Here's the dyno sheet after all the mods:

As you can see, it ended up with 327.2rwhp and, as it was pointed out to me by Dan (Goatme) from the Charger 'Z', torque was 379-380rwt. My prior dyno, with a Predator (89oct tune) and CAI, was 315.2rwhp and 350-350rwt.

My overall feeling of all the mods, if you were to see me now, I have a permanent ear to ear smile. Though the gains weren't that substantial, I did see improvements in how he drives and overall performance. You ask, was it worth it?? For me it definitely was.

As always, I welcome all comments and suggestions whether good or bad. Thank you for looking!!

Dave congrats I know that whenever we do anything to improve our toys the anticipation of that first drive is fantastic. By the sounds of it you definitely were not disapointed. Enjoy, have fun and please let us know whats coming next.

Thank you, to be honest, I wasn't really expecting that much of an increase. All the same, I'm extremely happy with the results. As for future mods, I think for the moment, I've maxed out on bolt-ons, with the exception of a s'charger. I would like to keep it N/A. The next logical step would be heads and cam, which I'm considering. I still have a bunch of bling mods that I have yet to install. The only exterior mod that I plan on doing are some rims and tires. So his looks won't change too far from stock.

Thank you, Patric, I really couldn't tell you exactly how much it cost by itself. He gave me a package price that I couldn't refuse.

Wow, great response to the mods. Nothing like the Dyno to reassure that one has made a very good combination. Thank you very much for taking the time to share this great information. Enjoy! :-)

Thank you, Charlie. The dyno results were surely a great surprise, though I wish, now, I had done what I had originally planned. It would have really been great then But I'm not done yet. LOL I think later this year, I'm going to start looking at heads and cam.

You're welcome, it's my pleasure to share my info. Hopefully someone else can learn and see the results from my posts.

Thank you, Steve, in all honesty, when combined with the other mods, I think the throttle body only added maybe 2 or 3 at the most. But the throttle response is great, no more response lag.

You're very welcome.
