Loud fan noise

Sometimes when starting up the Ram the fan spins very fast and gets very loud. I mean almost too loud. It kind of irks me why it does this some times. Is this common for Rams? This doesn't happen all the time though... mostly random.

I have the same thing, is really loud for the first couple of minutes then dies down and doesn't happen for a while. Had several people comment on this over on the RamZ, so I'm thinking it's just a 'ram thing' since it's only happening on the '06-08 HEMIs. I just slate it in with the hemi 'tick' and don't worry about it.

Well that makes me feel a bit better about it. Now that my warranty just expired I am awaiting the plethora of things I have to fix myself lol.
