So I guess someone has to start the ball rolling. My toy is a '98 Dakota RC Sport that I've swapped in a 2004 5.7 Hemi and 545rfe trans. I'm in the long process of process of changing over from red to black paint. I've replaced the rusty panels with new steel, shaved the tailgate latch and hood emblem and will be adding fender flares and a body kit. Here is a picture of the Hemi in it's new home.

Wondering THAT myself, Jerry. Sure would like to have a 5.7 Sitting in my '92 Dakota. Working on a Surprise Vintage Engine myself. More about it, when I get to the point of having something to show, as far as Progress. It won't be as exotic as the New Hemi, but I THINK it will be interesting.

Oh Yeah! Great project. Got to see MORE of this! I would LIKE to have tried that route with my '92 Dakota, but have decided to go
another route. I REALLY don't have much to show just yet, but I've got a 440 and a 727 trans to shoehorn into the little '92. Always
like to see what others are up to and YOURS has REALLY got MY attention. ;)
